It's UYS's Blog-A-Versary Blog Hop

Welcome to my little blog. I'm second on the list for UYS's Blog-A-Versary. I've made quite a few cards lately using my scrap stash. So my scrap bin is slowly being depleted. Yay me!!

Stop by the UYS Blog to wish them a very Happy Birthday!! And remember to check in all month long for challenges and a chance at lots of yummy prizes that will be given away.

I'll be giving away a prize on my blog this week. It's papers from Die Cuts With a View Green Stack, plus a few other goodies added in. If you're looking for a chance to score these papers then leave a comment on my blog letting me know what you've been doing with your "older" stash lately. I'll draw a winner on Friday.

Take a few minutes to head on over to Kelli's blog to see what she's been up to lately.

**To be entered in the prize of the Core'dinations cardstock packs, you MUST visit and comment on all blogs in the blog hop**

Happy A! Just hopped from Kimmie's! Used my old stash to create gift tags! My children always attend children's bday party/ies at least once a month so I make cute little gift tags to go with the gifts!

I really have been trying to use as much as I can. I also donated a bunch of papers to my son's class - they used them to make Mother's Day cards. Lisa L.

I worked on cards last night from my "old stash" too.
It's fun to get use out of stuff that's just been sitting on my table.

I haven't got to do much scrapping lately, so not much of my stash, new or old, has been going anywhere. But I love the idea of the gift tags. That just sounds so cute!

Happy Birthday UYS!!!

I never throw anything out so whatever I make whether it be a layout, card or altered project, you can bet my old stash makes it in there somewhere.

I went thru my stash to pull out stuff that has been there for quite some time and was going to take it to my LSS for their scrap box. The owner told me they were going to have a garage sale so I'm going to save it for that now and try to make a little money :)

I am working on 30 bday album for my baby brother and I am trying to use as much from my stash as possible.

Well....I use my stash to create layouts on cardstock backgrounds and to make cards....that's after what the kids DON'T steal for their scrapping!

Happy Blog-a-versary! I made a card and few tags out of my stash this weeekend! It's a good feeling to use up some of the stash.

I'm all about using up my stash. I recently helped my niece complete 36 pages using papers from my stash. I'm ashamed to say some of the papers were over 10 years old. The others at the crop were wondering where I bought some of these papers. They were disappointed to find out they were 10 years old. LOL, I guess there's something to be said for being a paper pack rat!

I've been working on organizing my stuff so I can actually start using. I've barely been buying, so must of my stash is older. I want to get some school pages done while this year is still fresh in my mind

What cute cards you have made. I love home made stuff. Thanks for a fun give-away.

Oh, I forgot the part about how I am using my stash. I have organized all my paper scraps in a tower with 8 drawers. I labeled them with color groups. Since doing this, i have really started to use my scraps. When I need just a small amount of paper, I head to the drawer, and see what i can find. This is especially good when making small diecuts. I also go to my paper stash to look for suitable paper to use for a project before going out to buy more. Seems there is often a suitable choice.

i have been making cards and trying to do my layouts without cutting into new paper that was just bought. i am doing fairly good i think cardstock is the only thing i had to use new pieces of.

I have been busy making mini albums for the family with my older stuff. I just used some old Cosmo Cricket. Family members don't scrap, and have no idea the paper is old LOL

I have been trying to use my old stash on LOs. I have a hard time using large bits of my new paper so I tend to use older stuff for LOs.

Hey Marti! I've been mixing my old with my new.

Cute cards, btw.

Hi Marti, It is great meeting you on your blog. I love your work. You will find that I am a great scraplifter sometimes. I can be creative, and when I find beautiful work, it really inspires me.

Cute cards!! I have been using my stash by doing layouts! I noticed today my paper stash was getting smaller - my paper holders weren't busting at the seams.

Hey Marti! I have so much stash I could open my own store and still have plenty left to scrap myself! LOL! I am trying to use up some of my stash by picking patterned papers and at least one or two OLD embellies for almost every layout I do. I pick them FIRST and then decide on the pix and title!

I have been trying to use some of my older stash and mixing it with new products. I have more stash that I can possibly ever use.

I used a lot of my stash for a month-long set of challenges on a forum I belong to. I got 28 LOs and several cards completed this month out of stuff I've either collected (bought & forgotten about or saved) or was sent as RAKs. I didn't buy anything but photos and adhesive, and I'm so proud of myself for that!

I also use my stash to make cards or to just play with my granddaughter making animals from AK or ZB

Just hopped from Kimmie's and I've been using my stash on my Cards for Heroes collection.

I've been giving a lot of my older stash to my 12 year old sister...she's getting ready to have her birthday and she wants scrapbook stuff!

Thanks, Marti, for inviting me so long ago to join the group at Use your stash and YMBD. I've had so much fun learning, and playing along with all of the challenges. Lately, I haven't been able to use my stash, (cause of my accident and moving), but hope to get back into it shortly. I'll definitely be using it for the YMBD summer challenge. And I've committed to make cards for CFH as well - so whatever scraps I have will go to the cards. I'll probably go back to your YMBD March card challenges for inspiration too. Again, thanks for everything you do.

Hi there! Love your cards. They are so pretty! I have been trying to use up older stash and scraps. May started with NSD so I even used some Jolee's photo corners and slide mounts on my pages!!

Hi Marti, I've been storing my too-small-for-scrapping scraps with intention of buying a mould and deckle. It's my birthday in a couple of months so I'm hoping for one then! Anything bigger gets used for flower petals or just stuck down by my 4year old daughter, she loves making rainbow cards for her Grandma :)
Happy B'day UYS!!
