Nudged

I've been nudged. With a stick no less. And even I know that that means business. Who nudged me - Corey did. It's been a while since I blogged and this was her way of letting me know I need to get my butt in gear. LOL

Just wanted you to know Corey that this blog is for you!!! LOL

Not much going on. Can't seem to find my mojo - once again. I'm always putting it in a safe place and then never remembering where that place is. DH says it's one of my endearing qualities - yeah right!!

Well, I did managed to get a card done for a challenge today. Hopefully this will get me on the right track. What do you think?

Maybe it's a little too busy, but I like it! OK, I'll be back for more later. PROMISE!!

Your Memories By Design

I was so excited to get this package. My first kit on the YMBD 2009 Design Team. Catherine has such awesome stuff in her store and as much as I might like to, I just can't buy it all. DH would pitch a royal fit!! LOL He just doesn't seem to understand that this is truly an addiction. If he does there may be an intervention and that just won't do. But back to the kit.

Our theme, of course, was winter. Since we haven't had any snow so far I chose some really great photos from a couple of seasons ago and created a couple of LOs, cards, and a small acrylic album.

Scrapbook Playground Closing

I'm so sad. Wendi posted the following info on our forum last week:

On January 1, 2009, Scrapbook Playground will be closing the site. With the close of the store in May of 2008, it has become financially impossible to continue to run the site so the decision to close has been made. The Happy Box kit club is continuing and announcements in regards to the kits will be made on the Scrapbook Playground blog. Thank you for the wonderful years of fun - the Playground will be missed.

Wendi was the first to give me an opportunity on a Design Team! I feel like Playground was my family and I'm sure going to miss all of the fun we had. If you were part of our family come on by and say good-bye to Wendi and the rest of the ladies. I'll miss the Playground Wendi and thanks for all you did for me.

Magistical Memories

A New Etsy Shop

My friend Kimmie decided to start an Etsy shop. She's got some really terrific tags and beautiful cards. You should definitely stop by and check it out. My favorite are those cute little Christmas tags with the Santas. Maybe I'll find them in my stocking on Christmas morning - LOL!!

Shout it Out Loud

WOOHOO! I made it!

I found out today that I made the Design Team at Your Memories By Design! I'm so excited I can't tell you how much I wanted to make this team. Catherine is just so wonderful and her Etsy shop if filled with so many goodies that it's always hard to decide which ones I want to try next.
